- RCW 28B.15.558 - Provides for Washington schools of higher education to reduce or waive tuition and fees for state government and educational employees. Check with your school to see if it is participating

- Family Support Center - Thurston county intake/triage to various local homelessness shelters; financial assistance to pay the rent or mortgage, food, clothing, healthcare, utility assistance, child care, crisis intervention, holiday gifts; advocacy, case management, transportation, counseling, application assistance. - Family Promise - Interfaith hospitality national network that work together to help homeless families
- Salvation Army - Emergency housing for women and children
- WA Dept Social and Health Services - Help with housing and utilities through TANFF
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP, HHS/ACF) - Assists very low income renters and homeowners meet their immediate home energy needs
